During my time in Japan, Mount Fuji's classic beauty and majesty was one of the most inspiring scenes for my artistic work and every day life. In July of 2019, I was able to hike to the top of Japan's tallest mountain. The view from the peak of Mount Fuji is like no other and I will forever cherish the memories I've made with this natural, earthen masterpiece.

Mount Fuji is often referred to as Fuji-san and boasts an iconic existence in Japan's history, as well as the world's art history. The Great Wave off Kanagawa, a woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai, is one of the world's most famous pieces of art depicting one of the many stunning views and seasons of beloved Fuji-san.
