This fine art giclee is printed on 245g, bright white, textured watercolor paper created from poly cotton fiber that is highly durable, acid free, and lignin free.

ABOUT THE PIECE:
I created “Calmness” using handmade watercolor paints. The work was inspired by my trips around Pensacola, Florida and Fort Pickens.
 
I was searching for a calmness I could claim in my daily life, but it is not my season for mental, emotional, or physical calm (and truth be told, it may never be). I am a mother to two young children and artist, what is calm. However, I was able to find a calmness for my soul as my brush glided across the paper and new life emerged through a mix of water and pigment, and many prayers of praise and petition (Philippians 4:6-7).
 
I know God's love for things he's created and through His love I am able to find peace and joy. It is like a wave of calmness that washes over me.
